Three-Year-Old Class (2 days)
Tuesdays/Thursdays from 8:30-11:30 am
We are sure that your three-year-old is a busy little bee! In this class we will provide an atmosphere that is engaging and fun, allowing time for exploration and daily lessons. They will begin to learn that sharing is caring, kindness counts, following simple rules, and how to work together in their classroom community. Children will have time to discover their environment through science, art, gross and fine motor activities, dramatic play, and building blocks, with an introduction to letters, numbers, shapes, and much more!
A child must be three years old before September 1st of the current school year and fully potty trained to be eligible for enrollment in a 3’s preschool class.
Four-Year-Old Class (3 days)
Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 8:30-11:30 am.
We are four and we love to explore! Children in this class begin to prepare for kindergarten and build the skills necessary to move on to the next step in their education. They will strengthen their fine motor skills to prepare them for writing, letter recognition and sounds for reading, counting 1-10, shape and number recognition, building social skills, gross motor skills, self-care, and language development.
Pre-kindergartner Class (5 days)
Monday-Friday from 12:30-3:30 pm.
Let's get ready for kindergarten! Many parents are concerned about their child's academic skills when going to kindergarten. We want the whole child to be prepared! This class will build their fine motor skills such as holding a pencil and using scissors, self-care, knowing the alphabet, speaking in complete sentences, using words to express themselves, and understanding directions. We will also build up their skills in math, reading, letter recognition, language development, self-care, social-emotional skills, character building, and gross motor.
A child must be four years old before September 1st of the current school year to be eligible for enrollment in the four-year-old or Pre-Kindergarten class.
Our classes meet in the education wing of the Orenco Presbyterian Church. Experienced, qualified, caring teachers will provide your child with a loving, Christ-centered, fun environment where they can learn and grow. We want children to love to come to school!
